Acyclovir Denk 5% Cream 7g

* Antiviral cream for cutaneous use (Denk Pharma, Germany).

1. Composition

1 g cream contains 50 mg acyclovir (5%). Excipients: cetyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, propylene glycol, white soft paraffin, purified water.

2. Indications

Treatment of herpes simplex virus infections of the lips and face (recurrent herpes labialis).

3. Dosage and Administration

Apply thinly to affected areas 5 times daily at 4-hour intervals for 5 to 10 days. Initiate treatment at the earliest onset of symptoms.

4. Contraindications

Known hypersensitivity to acyclovir, valacyclovir, or excipients.

5. Side Effects

Transient burning, stinging, itching, or local skin peeling.

6. Storage Conditions

Store below 25°C protected from moisture.
